Calendar Tab
The Calendar tab holds your calendar subscription feed and your own calendar connection.
Connect your calendar
Where: open Account Settings > Calendar tab.
Connecting your Google Calendar lets the Sparko AI Assistant work with your real schedule. It is optional, and it is your own connection. Nobody sets it up for you.
To connect:
- Open Account Settings > Calendar tab
- Click Connect Google Calendar
- Approve the access on Google's screen
- You come back to Account Settings, and the section shows the date you connected
What it does once connected:
- The assistant can check when you are free before it proposes a time for a 1:1 with your manager or one of your reports
- When a 1:1 is scheduled and both of you have connected your calendars, Sparko creates a real Google Calendar event and invites you both
Good to know:
- If the assistant cannot see the other person's calendar, because they have not connected it or their free/busy is not shared with you, it tells you instead of guessing
- If the invite cannot be created, the 1:1 is still booked in Sparko and the assistant says the invite did not go out
- Click Disconnect at any time. Sparko's access is removed immediately, and the assistant stops offering availability checks and invites
Security Tab

Privacy Tab
Manage your personal data in compliance with GDPR and other privacy regulations, and record your voluntary self-identification answers.
Requesting a copy of your data
There is no self-serve export button today. To receive a copy of the personal data Sparko holds about you, make a data subject request to your HR team. Your HR administrators have a dedicated queue for handling these requests in line with GDPR and similar regulations.
Voluntary self-identification
Under Account Settings → Privacy tab you can record four optional answers about yourself: gender and race/ethnicity (for EEO-1 reporting), whether you identify as a protected veteran (VEVRAA), and whether you have a disability (Section 503).
Every question is optional. Choosing "Prefer not to say" is stored exactly the same way as never answering — there is no record that you declined, and nothing shows anyone that you skipped a question.
Who can see your answers:
- You, on your own settings page.
- HR staff who hold the demographic-data permission.
- Nobody else. Your manager cannot see them. Nobody reviewing your performance can see them. They do not appear on your profile to colleagues.
What they are used for: aggregate reporting only — checking that hiring, promotion and pay outcomes are fair across groups. Your individual answers are never shown in those reports, and a group with fewer than five people is withheld entirely so no one can be identified by subtraction.
Stored encrypted, like your name and contact details.
You can change or clear any answer at any time.
